My name is Moses, but they call me "Mo" around the farm. I am a tiger striped cat and I really own the place. I am not afraid of anything and love it when the children come to the farm. The children like to hold me and feed me cat treats, and occasionally you can find me in the trash can where one child in particularly likes to put me and close the lid. I usually sleep with my dog friend buddy at night and during the day I chase leaves, butterflies, and bugs. I'm not afraid of the horses and I sometimes walk in the arena with the horse and children to make sure everything is done properly. I like jumping in people's cars when they open the doors, because the seats are so soft. Come visit me at the farm and I will share by bug snacks with you.
My name is Buddy, I am a Syrian Husky. I have been a part of the Wartner family for 7 years. They adopted me when I was a puppy. I am full of energy and my two favorite things are being walked and being petted by the people who come out to the farm. Sometimes, I am part of the therapy process. I howl when someone tells me to speak, and sit when I think I will get a treat. I love the attention that the therapists, volunteers, and riders give me. The scripture verse that I am associated with is John 15: 13 where Jesus speaks about being a friend. I want to be that friend (Buddy) to everyone who visits the farm.
My name is Balaam (Numbers 22:21-39). I am a Miniature donkey and named after Balaam's donkey in the Bible. The only place in the Bible that an animal speaks. I was donated to the farm in November 2009 by Janice and Blake Sigmon. My closest friend is "Heaven" the Clydesdale. I run underneath him when I'm scared and he protects me. I always stay close to my friend "Heaven." Especially when "Heaven" eat oats, I stand under his mouth catching the oats he drops with my tongue. I love the attention the children give me. I am very small, so I can look at most of the riders eye to eye.
